It was with heavy hearts that the Yaxley Festival Committee made the decision to change the Yaxley festival to a biennial event.
Massively increased infrastructure and security costs coupled with a reduction in committee members meant that a 2015 event just was not feasible.The date for the next Yaxley Festival has therefore been pushed back to May 13th, 14th and 15th 2016. These dates are concrete, have been agreed with Yaxley Parish Council and the committee is already engaging with the Cambridgeshire Constabulary to plan YaxFest 3.
With an additional year to recruit new members and to develop the funding model and of course the entertainment programme, Yaxley Festival MMXVI is shaping up to be the best yet.We look forward to seeing you all in 2016 and if you can help us in any way please contact us using volunteers@yaxleyfestival.info
